About Us
Olde Cottage Bakes, LLC is based in Hagerstown, MD and is a Maryland Cottage Food Bakery. This means that we are able to take our passion for baking and share it with others, delivering our fresh bakes directly from our home to yours. All of our baked goods are handmade, using only fresh, quality, and local ingredients to make the most delicious bakes, just for you! Our greatest hope is that our baked goods will create a wonderful memory of grandma's baking, or with just one bite, will trigger another precious memory of time spent with family or friends.

Meet the Bakers
My love for baking began as a child, alongside my grandmother in the kitchen. While most children have only limited opportunities to spend time at grandma's, being raised by my grandparents, I had the unique opportunity to cook and bake with my grandmother every day. I was inspired by my grandmother's Pennsylvania Dutch-style of cooking and baking, making foods that were homemade, using simple, fresh, homegrown ingredients. Over the years, I enjoyed baking for family and friends, who would often tell me that I should open my own bakery, but with work, and raising six children, there wasn't a lot of time to pursue such a venture. Well, my kids have grown and I'm now a grandmother myself, and while I love cooking and baking for my family, starting my own cottage bakery has allowed me to share my love for baking with others, all while working alongside my own daughters. I hope that you enjoy our bakes as much as we enjoy making them!

I started making donuts for a local bakery 15 years ago and have been baking ever since! I take pride in what I make and have a passion for taking a recipe and testing different ingredients in order to perfect it. I'm a firm believer that happiness shows on your face. My love for baking comes from seeing the joy on other people's faces after they have tried one of my bakes. Nothing makes me happier than baking with my family, and sharing that with you, it truly is a dream come true.

I love trying new recipes. When I was a little girl, I was always in the kitchen helping my mom. Now, I spend my free time trying new recipes. I enjoy being creative with my bakes. Some of my favorite things to make are homemade pasta, and different kinds of cookies, especially macarons and meringues.
